The Chickahominy Family YMCA is seeking a part time, experienced swim team coach to serve as Head Coach for our swim team!
DUTIES of a Swim Team Coach
The Head Coach will work closely with the Aquatics Director to oversee the operations of the swim team program including, but not limited to, scheduling, training, supervising, and evaluating swim practices and assistant coaches. Applicants must have some open availability during the week and weekends during swim meets, coaches meetings, and dive clinic practices.
QUALIFICATIONS of a Swim Team Coach
We are looking for swim team coaches who have have at least 3 or more years of coaching experience and-or proven track record in managing a large swim team program. In addition applicants must have a current professional CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. Current YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard or Ellis certification and YMCA Swim Instructor or WSI certifications are desired.
