The Goochland Family YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate education professional (certified teachers) to serve as our Enrichment Teacher!

DUTIES of an Enrichment Teacher

The Enrichment Teacher will be responsible for the enrichment instruction and safety of the adult students in the program. They will serve as a role model by exemplifying high standards and values, identify scholar needs and create course materials that cover all aspects of the English language and track student progress.

QUALIFICATIONS of an Enrichment Teacher

The successful candidate must possess a current teaching certification (ELL or English) as recognized by the Virginia Department of Education, with at least two years related experience. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required. This position requires a desire to work with and be a positive role model for children and adults. Must have the ability to lead, manage, and inspire with warmth, clear instruction, a positive attitude, and appropriate firmness.
