The Midlothian Family YMCA is currently seeking a part time positive role model to build relationships, plan, and coordinate our Active Older Adults Program! This part time position starts at $15 per hour.

DUTIES

The Coordinator will plan programs, and coordinate program logistics (transportation, staffing, etc.)

Additional responsibilities include:

Establish a yearly calendar of events for programs.

May assist in the overseeing of the hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating of staff or volunteers.

Ensure coverage for all scheduled shifts. Fill in as needed.

Attend and assist with all scheduled staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Assist in the development of associated budget. Manage department expenditures within allotted budget.


QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must have at least two years relevant work experience (preferably with older adults and youth and family) and current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications. Candidates who are responsible and enthusiastic are highly desired.
