The YMCA of Greater Richmond, is seeking a mission-driven, enthusiastic Regional Property Director to provide oversight and maintenance of YMCA facilities, properties, and grounds at assigned locations and will complete projects as assigned. Primary location of focus will be at our Camp Thunderbird location in Chesterfield, VA.

DUTIES


This Regional Property Director will lead and coordinate approved projects for all assigned locations, perform approved repairs including but not limited to plumbing carpentry, flooring, painting, landscaping, and housekeeping. Will provide leadership in major facility, aquatics, and property repairs, lead and evaluate facility and property management including staffing, contractors, cleanliness, repairs, and supplies. They will ensure proper use and methods of YMCA approved cleaning materials, supplies, equipment, building fixtures, and equipment. Must be able to operate custodial equipment including scrubbers, strippers, extractors to support branch custodians.

The Regional Property Director will also manage budgets in assigned areas of responsibility including timely and accurate forecasting and budget analysis - and will serve as a member of the Property and Facilities Cabinet. They will manage ARC approved preventive maintenance and inspection schedule on all equipment and major systems for assigned locations.

The position will be accountable for consistently updating YMCA approved system of records, reports, and inventory in assigned areas and be responsible for updating, communication and closeout of all work orders and projects in Facility Dude. Will be responsible for scheduled "on-call" evenings and weekends.

Overall, this position will serve as staff liaison between YMCA Association and branch leadership regarding property and facilities decisions and projects. They will support YMCA branch staff and custodians in maintenance, housekeeping, and branch custodial projects, such as carpet cleaning, high dusting, tile scrubbing, etc. - and will administer maintenance contract services for branches assigned, ensuring adherence to the contract and approving payment.


QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. A minimum of four years of work experience in facilities management required. Must have familiarity with OSHA standards, emergency plans, equipment purchasing and lease contracts, maintenance management, housekeeping. Strong supervisory skills, PC skills and budgeting experience necessary. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment required. Candidates must have the ability to work varied schedule as necessary, including some evenings and weekends.


Salary: $42-$45,000 - based on experience and qualifications.
