The Shady Grove Family YMCA is currently seeking a positive role model to coordinate programs and staffing for the Child Watch facility, as well as providing supervision and guidance for children in the facility.

DUTIES

The Coordinator will plan programs, engage with children and parents, create the staff schedule, supervise attendance and fill in as needed, train and develop staff, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the Child Watch facility.

Additional responsibilities include:

Establish a yearly calendar of events for parental participation.

Assist in the overseeing of the hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating of Child Watch staff.

Regulate sign in and out procedures for children and track Child Watch usage.

Ensure coverage for all scheduled shifts. Fill in as needed. 

Attend and assist with all scheduled staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Assist in the development of the Child Watch department budget. Manage department expenditures within allotted budget.



QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must have at least two years experience working with children and supervising others and current CPR and First Aid certifications. Candidates who are responsible and energetic are highly desired.
