The Midlothian Family YMCA is seeking a mission driven team player to serve as a full-time Associate Swim Team Director for our swim team, as well as assisting with other aspects of aquatics management.

This chosen candidate will work a 40 hour work week.  25 hours of which will consist of coaching and the remaining 15 hours admininstrative duties. They will lead a minimum of 4 of the 5 practices each week for fall and winter and will lead all summer swim team practices. They will also develop schedules for all assistant swim team coaches, provides staff with practices and training and plans & executes all home swim meets.  They will organize volunteers for all swim meets and swim team events. Additionally, the selected candidate will maintain all communication with swimmers & parents and develop/lead a parent committee. This position does require frequent evening and weekend work. 


Candidates must have experience coaching a swim team, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with program participants and families. Excellent communication, attention to detail and enthusiasm are required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Candidates must have current Professional CPR-Pro and First Aid certifications, and YMCA/Red Cross/Ellis lifeguard certification.
